I have several expensive repairs and replacements on my buy to let flat .. it currently is tenanted... I hve a buy to let mortgage with my ex husband ... should we seek a loan to pay for these repairs .. obviously nobody would give us a loan in joint names so we will have to come to an agreement .. or do you think the it would be advisable to ask the mortgage lenders for the cash.
We intend to sell in a couple of years, pay off the mortgage and loan.

Additional borrowing on your mortgage should be cheaper than a personal loan.0
