in Credit cards
A few months ago I transfered some money to my Barclaycard using a 0% till October 2011.
Today I had another letter offering 0% until August 2011 which I've used to clear a credit card that I could only pay the mininum on this month which has a 16.5% interst rate.
Now I'm confused as when my 0% will run out. Will some be August some be October?
I know there are new rules on order of payment allocation for different types of spending on the card but what about different dates?
Thanks in advance if anyone understands this.:)

The money you transferred a few months ago will run out of the 0% in October. The money you just transferred will run out of 0% in AugustMFW 2025 #50: £711.20/£600007/03/25: Mortgage: £67,000.00
18/01/25: Mortgage: £68,500.14
27/12/24: Mortgage: £69,278.38
27/12/24: Debt: £0 🥳😁
27/12/24: Savings: £12,000
07/03/25: Savings: £16,5000 -
But if I pay some of the money off in the meantime (as I still have to pay the monthly minimum balance) which one will it go to? Is this a new way for them to catch me out and get me paying 19% APR on more of the money. I know it's only 2 months in this case but every little counts right now.
The original transfer was at about £2600 (ends Oct)
the second transfer £600 (ends Aug)
So if I pay back £600 by August will I have no interest to pay or will they get me for it in August and September? They could say I have paid £600 off the original transfer and nothing off the new deal!
I think they are being sneaky!!!0
