HALIFAX - 20 and £1000 worth of charges!!

Ok so I've heard alot about re-claiming bank charges when I was 18 Halifax offered me £400 overdraft which led to alot of trouble, now I have over £1000 worth of charges and charges on top of charges! :@

I've gone through all my bank statements highlighted all the charges since 2008 wrote it all down.

What do I need to do next? And how should I write the letter to the bank asking for my money back?

Thank-you!!
Alex

  • Have you read the reclaiming guide? If you're not in hardship it's unlikely that you're going to get anything back. Have you contacted them to discuss your cirucmstances? And what was it that caused the charges in the first place?
