Halifax Credit Card? -They might owe you money

Hey guys,
My OH has just had his CC statement through from Halifax. He'd worked out his interest costs to be around £10 so when they charged him £26 he rung them up.
It turns out they had mis-calculated his charge, so not only did he get the difference back but he also got the whole amount (turned out to be £8) refunded too as their policy is that if they calculate your charges wrong then they wipe them for that month.
So, if you have a Halifax card, work out how much interest you SHOULD pay and if you have any doubt in what they've charged, get on the phone :money:
Sorry if this has already been posted, I couldn't find it anywhere and I had no idea about this policy until now, so hoping it will help someone

Did they explain how they'd managed to miscalculate the charge?

Hi opinions4u,
No, they didn't explain it at all. And at first they told my OH that he was wrong and that their calculation was correct, it was only once he talked it all through with the woman that she saw they had overcharged him and processed the refund.
I wonder how many people have been overcharged and do not notice?0
