My mother inadvertantly used the wrong credit card which was five months into a 0% balance transfer period to pay for goods. Obviously she now has to pay interest. Can she do another balance transfer with the new amount to another provider. I know she will incur another 'transfer fee' but is there any other penalties for using breaking the rules on her 0% interest period of 15 months?

what rule is she breaking?
how much interest is she paying ?
if that more that the BT fee?
but yes there is nothing to stop her transferring the balance to a new card0 -
I don't understand what you mean by her 'breaking the rules'? DId the card provider say you only get a 0% BT if you never use the card again? Sounds unlikely.0

She might need to wait for a statement cycle. Else the moneys received from the new card might be applied to her existing promo balance rather than the balance she just put there.0
