Patterned Tights

Hello all,

I wonder if you can help :)

I normally live in various sorts of trousers, and have decided to buy some skirts and tights. I've only ever worn black tights before, either the sheer ones or heavy denier ones.

The skirts I'm thinking of are long fitted skirts or with a little flair at the bottom, hope that makes sense.
To be worn with high heels.

What I'm looking for are nice patterned tights, possibly black but open to other colours as well, and maybe 40 denier upwards.

Although I don't have sensitve skin at all, have you ever found the patterned ones to be uncomfortable in any way.

Just some recommendations would be nice as these rather alot of choice out there :)

Have a look in John Lewis, or Debenhams as they usually have a good selection. I tend to go for self patterned ones with different textures, in black/dark brown rather than brightly coloured tights. I have worn brights though, purples are good.
  • They have cheaper ones in Primark & Peacocks in S,M,L & XL
But I'm not sure about them being uncomfortable, sorry
Maybe if they don't have a decent sole they could make your feet sore...but that's just a guess.

They are cheaper in Primarks, but much better quality in JL.

I think thats what I'm looking for, thanks for that, I hadn't heard the term before.

I think I'll try Debenhams and John Lewis next time I'm in town, thank you very much :T
