Chest Infections!

Before I tell my tale let me just confirm I am seeing a Dr later this week - but just wanted to see if anyone had been through a similar thing!
Over Christmas and New Year I was diagnosed with a Severe Respiratory Infection, I'd had sinusitis and a chest infection so was signed off work. All in all I had three weeks off due the christmas closing.
I returned to work still feeling rough but couldn't afford to have any more time off.
I do not smoke, not over weight, eat healthily, exercise, and never had asthma.
This week I've started getting a chesty cough again and the same sypmtoms that I'd had when I had the chest infection.
I was wondering...... if my job has an effect on these recent chest infections, my job is based at a swimming pool and I spend approx 15hrs a week in water in a wet suit.
Does anyone know if chest infections are re-accuring and whether working in a damp environment is likely to be aggrevating it?!
Thank you *cough*
