Very happy DLA been awarded.

Well after just 2 Months i got the letter today telling me that i have now been awarded DLA at the same rates as before so am glad its all been done and sorted.

Its been awarded for a year till Feb 2012 but was worried i would not get it.

    No didnt send anything in to them just the 4 page form and they got a report from my gp plus advice from there own medical team which was ATOS but didn't have to see them them.

    Just one thing would like to know my wife gets carers allowance so she called them today to let them know of new award and told her that she didn't need to tell them as DLA would tell them is that true and do I need to tell income support?
