halifax reward via moneysupermarket

I opened the above account early December via Martin's link to moneysupermarket offering the £50 incentive. I have paid £1000 in each month since and had the £5 reward but no sign of the £50. I emailed moneysupermarket to query this and they said it was Halifax's reponsibility. I telephoned Halifax today and they said it was moneysupermarket's promotion and their responsibility! Any suggestions from others who have opened this and received the £50 whose responsibility it is?
