Sky HD how much extra?

I have bought a new freeview HDTV and only get, at the moment, the freeview HD channels.
I also have Sky plus for which I am now paying £20.50 per month, no movies or sports.
How much extra would it cost me if I got a Sky HD box and what is the cheapest route to take to get one?
And is HDTV from Sky worth the extra money?

If you don't have movies or sports then I don't think it would be worth the extra £10 a month that the HD subscription costs. There are other HD channels, but only if you subscribe to that channels, such as FX, National Geographic, Discovery, Comedy Channel, etc.
For £20.50 it looks like you may have the basic set up, plus 2 packs. A lot of people think that the £10 might be dropped altogether sometime this year.0 -
As jackieb says, you'd only get the HD channels equivalent to your current subscription. Whether it's worth it or not, is dependent on how much time you spend watching the subscription channels and those that actually have an HD equivalent.Dave. :wave:0

HD boxes were free a while ago if you did (like me) install them yourself. That gum you like is coming back in style.0
