Or you could buy a refurb from the apple website.Around £65 inc delivery plus go through quidco. This however is the older model.

Most likely yes, as it is a fairly high value electrical item. You will be stung with an extra 17.5% plus any admin costs from the courier company(parcelforce...etc). I doubt you will get away with the item being sent as a 'gift'.

Probably best buying in the UK anyway for warranty purposes.
