He's been going slowly all day- he's not old he's got a tumour I think cos his belly was all swollen and he's gone down hill this week
His breathing was getting really weak and I dont like to think of him in pain
I have just put him in a tupperware bowl as his breathing got really shallow and.... I've put the lid on to help him along- he wasn't responding at all
Am i evil for bring the end on a bit???
Jut taken the lid off and he's still breathing somehow!!!!

No I dont think so, when my hammy was on his way out I put him in a warm place, wet his lips and prayed it would be quick and it was.........0

He is beyond help definitely going- took him out of the cage earlier, he's just hanging out the door of his house- he's on the worktop and i've dug a hole in the garden ready
We're used to our hamsters lasting over 3 yrs or more and love them lots but this is horrible- he hasn't drank in 3 days:A 17/10/07-Started Rosemary Conley :ATotal loss so far= 4 stone 7lbs!In the magazine Sept 08:T0 -
You poor thing. My hamster died 3 weeks ago, it is devastating when it happens. If he is really in pain and beyond help then it is not cruel to help it along.Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0

Sorry to hear about your hamster
I wouldn't put the lid on if he was mine, I would just put him in a blanket (if he doesn't move much) to comfort him.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Quick Grabbit, Freebies, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning and the UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.

thinking of you xx'Children are not things to be moulded, but are people to be unfolded'0 -
Took the lid off thinking he'd gone a min ago and he was still breathing- having not had air for 3 mins!
Dunno what to do- my son isn't liking it at all, although he's better this time than he was with the last one who he'd had 3 n a half years, but he still adored this one:A 17/10/07-Started Rosemary Conley :ATotal loss so far= 4 stone 7lbs!In the magazine Sept 08:T0 -
{Makes mental note: Don't go round to Jo6673's house if my asthma is playing up and I'm having trouble breathing. Especially not during a tupperware party:eek: }0
