I've always wanted one, even as a kid I was always seeking something to think about, and it looks like #3 son is the same - even driving down the road I want to know what 'that lorry' is carrying, where it's going, trying to remember urls in my head so I can check when I get home........ Debt is just another one of those things I need to think about - and it doesn't help that I seem to be the only [STRIKE]person[/STRIKE]adult in the house that IS bothered by the amount we've spent on keeping the cars on the road through credit cards, that we've borrowed money to pay off the o/d and spent it instead........
ARGGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -

Same resolution as me! No more junk food for me. My 30" waist jeans are getting a snug so need to cut back on the rubbish!0 -
Ahh then maybe I can help
(Hope so...)
I'm have it quite severely, the more common winter depressions, and I would definitely recommend www.outsidein.co.uk and their forum. It's a comfort to discuss things with fellow sufferers and sometimes even laugh about it through the darker days
Most GPs are fairly, reserved, about diagnosing SAD, they usually look for a pattern of three years. Generally they are just going to put it down to severe depression and as they don't see you in the up/summer days, they can't really compare it. You don't go to the doctors and say, guess what I feel amazing today :rotfl:
Definitely get yourself a light box (says she who hasn't got one yet
) but I have a Lumie alarm clock which has made such a massive difference. It fades up and down to help you wake up and go to sleep naturally. It definitely helps at 6.45am on a dark December morning.
Got mine from Boots through Quidco, £90 - £5 from Quidco and 1000 of their points (not a clue what that's worth mind you!)
Hope that helps a bit
