York races hotel needed - have we left it too late?

We are going to York races on 9th july and would like to stay over - anyone any ideas on where to stay? I've looked at a few but they're mostly booked I think we've left it rather late!

  • Probably, yes - there may also be graduations from the universities going on around that date so that could also cause problems with booking.

Try the B&Bs on Fulford Road if you haven't looked that way already, a few of my friends' parents stayed in that area when they graduated.

I stayed in this one and it was OK, but whether they`ll accept one night or not?

    The other funny thing is
these hotels and guest houses KNOW when the races are on and charge accordingly.

    Even Travelodge want £90
