What do you cook on a wood burner?

Just eating some lovely warm toast, toasted on the wood burner. Long toasting fork over hot embers. Kettle on top for the tea.

Any other ideas?

Done all of yours + teacakes & crumpets too! Also chestnuts & marshmallows + some soup....because I could. Going to try a jacket potato when I knock up something to put it in. Used to do them on simlar setup when serving apprenticeship in the steelworks. Happy Days....

Vin Chaud. Great for undrinkable wine, (which I seem to be buying more of!) - add some sugar and spice and all things nice, heat and drink.

Some as already mentioned above + pasta, various meat dishes eg, Beef bourginon which was lovely. Good to have other modes of cooking options!!
