Santander eSaver Issue 2 Bonus Payments

I recently opened an eSaver Issue 2 account and receive my interest monthly. I assumed (!) that the bonus is paid monthly with the interest as there is nothing to say otherwise in their documentation, eg T&Cs. The bonus element was not included in my first interest payment, however. A call centre agent said that the bonus is actually paid biannually and is calculated on the balance at 6 months and 12 months. He didn't sound convincing. Please can any existing "eSaver" on the forum confirm this for me?

The first-year bonus IS paid with the interest each month, according to an email reply from Santander CS. So, the original call agent was wrong, as I suspected.
I transferred funds to my account in several transactions during the second half of December, so the interest+bonus up to Jan 2011 may be roughly equal to the interest alone for a full month.
