Thoughts ? Looking for a solid company, low risk, but in it for a medium term investment .. :)

    Nat ional Grid of course..also consider NWG Northumbrian water.

    For a dabble try VOG which i think will fly this year.
    Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..

    While National Grid does seem like a good bet, remember that they are in a LOT of debt - might be something worth considering when weighing up pros and cons. DOYR of course :)

    Take a look at International Power. GDF Suez merger will make them a massive global generator involved in all kinds of power generation from coal to nuclear, not forgetting hydro, wind and wave. You'll miss out on the projected 92p per share special dividend payable on the merger unfortunately, but I think the company has definite good prospects, and pays a healthy dividend.

    VOG an AIM listed company on the London Stock Exchange.

    They are a small oil/gas exploration company who now have some projects which are due to come to fruition and produce income.

    They have a company website.
