Parking free near airports and Bham bus station?

in UK holidays, days out & entertainments
DOes any one know where I can park free near Stansted or Luton airports? I know some people park in nearby towns/streets?

Also would like to park near Birmingham coach station for 1 day. Any idea? any nice quiet street where i can park??

    If you park free you still have to get a taxi to the airport.

    At Luton I use Parkatmyhouse.com and specifically one guy.

    Typical costs are £25 per week and they all take you to and pick up from the airport as part of that price (usually £7 ew.)

    You could park around that area for free (Post code is LU2 8Dx) but as it would cost about £15 to\from get to the airport, unless you're staying for over a week, doesn't seem to be worth the risk.

    The guy I use now, will do direct deals with me for various nights at LTN and it works out good for both of us :)

    I would not leave a car anywhere around Birmingham Bus Station over night.
    I started with nothing and I am proud to say I still have most of it left.

    I wouldn't leave it in Brum town either. You could drive in as far as Hopwood maybe then get the bus the rest of the way?
