Transfer time through Boston Logan airport

i'm off to florida this weekend and I've got a 90 minute transfer time in Boston Logan to clear the plane, clear immigration, collect my bag, clear Customs, take my bags through security, drop my bags off again and cross the airport to a different terminal.
I've never used Boston aiport before, has anyone else, and if son, should I be worried about such a short transfer time ?

Get off the plane as fast as you can and walk fast to immigration.
Are you going on different airlines? If not, then you shouldn't need to re check in and therefore it will allow you to ge through in enough time.0 -
We're on AA all the way so at least we won't have to check in again.
I think that I'll mention our short transfer at check in at Manchestyer and see if the check in people can coordinate with the flight crew to get us off the plane ASAP, as by the sound of it, any time saved will be good.

When I was there in Sept, immigration was fairly swift. They had plenty of security desks open -- its not as slow moving as landing at Heathrow on a morning flight!
A shuttle bus runs round all the terminals. Go out of arrivals, cross the road and the bus stop is on your left.
Logan is about the same size as Manchester, I would guess.
You should be OK with checked through baggage -- if you land on time.

Cheers Mike,
That was exactly the sort of information that I was looking for.
I usually go through Chicago, and that can be a long job at times - but i know my way around O'Hare quite well.
If the plane IS delayed, there are alternate routes that I can take, so I wouldn't be stuck - it would just make a well planned journey a long drawn out job.

MTC, I use Boston 2-3 times a year and have had no issues recently as the immigration hall has been fairly empty each time. As I'm sure you know, the only problems occur (as they do in any other hubs) is when several international flights all arrive together. As phill79 says, try to get off plane a.s.a.p. and get ahead of the rest! I think though that at this time of the year you should be fine as long as no delays on the flight getting in. Good luck and have a great trip. There is a pleasure in the pathless woods, There is a rapture on the lonely shore, There is society, where none intrudes, By the deep sea, and music in its roar: I love not man the less, but Nature more...0
