ford mondeo drivers electric seat

Hi guys,
After the great help you gave me with my radio code,I'm looking for your help with the drivers seat now.
It's stuck in the high position and on pressing the button to lower the motor is running but nothing happening.
Is there a way to manually bypass this motor? or does anyone know how to lower the seat using the motor?

Should have used Shell or BP diesel mate

Supermarket branded fuel messes with mondeo's apparently






Maybe the motor has worn it's teeth and is unable to latch onto the seat rail

The teeth have come off the motor. New motor req'd. r a 2nd hand one from scrappie...
