Industrial Injury Benefit Awarded.

Ive been awarded IIDB and in the letter it says that the DWP sees me as disabled. will this info now change my appeal for esa and dla when I inform them?

    DLA is based on care and /or mobility needs - nothing to do with IIB.

    huh? You asked if you being awarded IIB would change your DLA appeal. They're two different benefits given for two different things.

    No need to be rude OP. Being disabled does not equate to needing care or having mobility problems. Disability does not necessarily exclude someone from working so being awarded one benefit does not passport you onto others.

    Id you're appealing ESA and DLA then any additional evidence might help. Ask for a copy of any evidence they considered for the IIDB award and see whether it's worth sending it in for the appeals
