Lego Universe faulty disks - pretty common

Hmmm. Bought this for son for Xmas and no joy with installing it from disk. Looks like game disk is actually blank.
Got in touch with online chat support and they immediately gave me a link to download the game. Its still downloading 4 hours later but hey we're getting there.
Since been doing some investigation because I thought it was a big iffy how quickly the support rep gave me the download link, and it appears this is a BIG problem. So if anyone has any problems, heres a warning.

To be fair, it's not lego's fault, but either Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment (the publisher) or net devil (the developer).
But it is worth noting that there's a problem. How big is the download and have you got a traffic limit for downloads?0 -
