Help regarding wages please?

Hi,
I started working for a company on the 1st December, doing 22 hours my first week, 5 hours my second week, and 5 hours my final week. Now I was told that it was 1 week lying on, so expected my first weeks wage to go in the bank on the 10th, but it didn't appear. After trying to contact my team manager all weekend I had to wait until Monday to find out, and was told i'd missed the cut off point and it would be in the bank on the 17th.
My hourly rate was £6.08 p/h, and on the 17th I only received £91.91. I thought maybe I would get more today (24th) with the whole cut off point thing , but I have only received £24.40 today.
I no longer work there so have not been able to collect my pay slips to find out what the problem is, but I was told that on the 17th I would receive the 22 hours for my first week, plus the 5 for my second week.
I really don't know what to do about this but surely I shouldn't have been taxed £60 on 22 hours... Or only been paid for 15 hours!
Does anyone have any ideas what the problem could be? Or any advice as to who I could contact, on xmas eve, regarding this? I cannot contact payroll as the managers have to call them on your behalf.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Oh, and I should add that I handed in my p45 and also filled in a p60 at the employers request.
Thanks.
