Face wipes or cleanse and polish

Which do you think is better for the skin or is there no difference? I normally use wipes but am thinking of trying the cleanse and polish. Would I be wasting my money?

Hi City Girl1,
Cleanse and polish from Liz Earle is fantastic stuff........my skin has never been so good since I started using it.
Although it appears an expensive initial outlay a little goes a long way.
I have to admit I use my cleanse and polish at night (I commute to work so you can imagine the train and underground grime on my face!!!!!) but still use cleansing wipes in the morning for quickness.
If it is Liz Earle stuff you want she now has an outlet on E-Bay (seconds-misprints on packaging only absolutely nothing wrong with the products) which are a little bit cheaper.

C&P all the way. Its cured my acne and my skin has never looked so healthy. I swear by it.
Yes, its expensive, but it lasts a long time and you only get one shot at postponing wrinkles!

Hi, thanks for your replies. Do you use the Liz Earle moisturiser too? What make up do you use with it, does using this mean you can get away with using cheaper make up?0
-
PS, I also notice the Liz E moisturiser doesn't have SPF, does this matter?0

Hi, I now use almost entirely LE, so I use the normal moisturiser, the superskin concentrate and the superskin moisturiser.
I mix the normal (green packaged) moisturiser 1:1 with a tinted moisturiser as my foundation. I find I don't need anything else.
The skin tonic has the most amazing smell

Philosophy's Purity cleanser is a good alternative to C&P, it has a lighter more gel-like texture rather than cream. Liz Earle moisturiser is good, SPF cream needs to be reapplied throughout the day so moisturisers with SPF aren't that useful anyway! The Skin Tonic is good too, feels really refreshing on skin and eyes and smells lovely. Once you start having a proper cleansing route (cleanse, tone & moisturise) the appearance of your skin will improve so chances are that you will need less foundation or get away without it altogether.0

Liz Earle's cleanse and polish is AMAZING. I recently got a Clarisonic so switched to Philosophy Purity Cleanser which is also AMAZING. LOL.
Boots do a dupe of the CP for like £7 which is good too, so much cheaper and much more product. Each of these choices are a much deeper clean than the cleansing wipes IME.0 -
Im one of these people who live by you get what you pay for it, but my skin hasnt been better since ive been using these £1 wipes from the pound shop. ha. I use clinque the next morning, so i get a good mix, but at the end of the day i cant be bothered to 1-2-3 step it!0
