Ponytail hairpiece?

Hi, Does anyone use one of these?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/HAIRPIECE-PONYTAIL-DARK-BROWN-4-LOOSE-CURLS-10-lucia-/270635596059?pt=UK_Health_Beauty_Hair_Care_Hair_Extentions_CV&hash=item3f0323791b

I have shoulder length hair and like to tie it up sometimes but it is quite fine so I end up with a pretty pathetic ponytail. I am tempted to buy something similar to the above link that I could attach to my stumpy ponytail, mostly to wear for daytime - work, shopping etc.

I have never had any sort of hair extensions so it is all new to me. Can anyone recommend a particular brand that is best? I don`t mind paying a bit more for one that looks good and stays in place. Don`t want any embarrassing wig falling off moments!

If anyone thinks that I would just look like a pi!!ock then please feel free to tell me lol.

Thanks,
Slinky

I wear various extensions or hairpieces all the time, I have to say that I only ever wear synthetic haire never ever real hair so cant comment on that. I like what you picked out, I have a set very similar to that which I bought from here http://www.annabelleswigs.co.uk/ I have only just started using this site and its been fabulous, great products, great price and no drama next day delivery previuosly I was using Jessica Simpson extensions which were lovely but I wanted longer. Getting used to them is practice but worth it in the end I would try to find ones with clip in snap grips rather than the combs, they seem to be a lot more secure to me especially on clean hair, the recent set I bought from the above came with combs but I changed it over to the clips and feel much better - good luck, I'm happy to answer any other questions:)
Thank you for this site Martin
The time for change has come
    Good luck for the future
  • Hi

I brought that piece from ebay from the same seller a while ago. The piece comes with a crocodile clip/claw attachment so it just clips in or you can take that out just pull the strings similar to a bobble. Depending on the length it can weigh a bit and it doesn't look 100% natural as its synthetic hair and also after a bit it does frizz on the top due to wear and tear.

However saying all this it is good value for money and it does transform thin hair and you can create some amazing quick hairstyles.

It doesn't fall off as if it was getting loose you would feel the weight slipping off your head.
