Can i complain to job centre?

Since they put me on this in the first place.
Apparently i am supposed to have been given a adviser on new deal, but i wasn't, and have no idea who i am supposed to see, a adviser has admitted "you were one of the people given a bum deal, thrown onto a programme without being asked what you want to do, and not been given any advice or the right information beforehand, your name was one that had a check mark next to it and we got a bolloking from the bosses for not putting you on a programme, so you were unfortunately not given interviews or anything else, however, you can call me on this number if you have problems i will unofficially advise you, i am semi retired i only work mon, tue and fri so those are the days to call"
He is a fantastic guy.
Before i saw him i have been having problems with new deal centre staff, i went to see my adviser at jobcentre and was told "Its out of our hands its between you and sencia" and expected to leave it at that, but i then said i want to change my adviser (tjis is when i found i didn't actually have one allocated) and that i NEEDED advice right there and then, not told by a receptionist to go away.
Should i complain then? If so what do i say?
Anyones wondering this guy i saw has put on my notes that new deal is not doing me any favours and that he recommends i be exited to start a new type of programme without being sanctioned on my benefits, the new programme is with a firm called inbiz, i hope to get some experience in turbine maintainence work.
I'm wondering what i should do. Also should i complain about new deal centre staff? They marked me absent while i was on a learn direct programme that they had set up, and the guy is refusing to alter it, effectively taking one of my days sick, yet he was informed beforehand where i was going, i did phone sencia and tell a staff member and she informed him.

I would save your energy and not bother complaining to the Job Centre, what do you think you would achieve? Better to put your efforts into trying to get a job. You mention turbine maintenance - do you have mechanical experience/qualifications?0

Do you ever stop complaining Widelats?Gone ... or have I?0

You can complain but don't expect them to listen.0

You can do what you like in life; whether it has long term implications - who knows? If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.0

I think widelats has me on ignore, because I was quite direct about his bus pass money. So if any quotes me, you may be disturbing widelats peace here.
I just get this picture of St George on his way to slay the dragon, getting caught up in brambles and getting in a frightful temper every time it happens. And then he has to take a day to recover and goes another 100 yards, getting caught up in the next lot of brambles.
widelats, you have just got to change your thinking mate. You have to lose that chip on your shoulder and really apply yourself to making the most of any opportunity which comes your way and not get involved in arguing with everyone whose path you cross. Otherwise you will be no nearer a jb in 10 years from now.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. My understanding, based on a conversation I've just had with an expert, is that there is no definite requirement to be allocated a specfic adviser.
As for an "adviser" who claims to be "semi-retired" who contacts you an offers to "unofficially" advise you, well, they are clearly unprofessional and are opening themselves up for disciplinary action.
You seem to be pinning everything on turbine maintenance work, is there much call for that locally? Do you have relevant experience, skills or qualifications?
I think your "complaint" will just be another thing to distract you from the one thing that should be your main aim - getting a job.0 -
The job centre tends to sit up and take notice if you copy your complaint to your Member of Parliament, County Councillors, or District Councillors.
You can find all their contact details here http://www.writetothem.com/ just put in your postcode.
Like anyone else they cannot be trusted to police themselves.~*~ If you don't need it, it isn't a bargain ~*~0 -

Let's employ someone to watch them then. And someone to watch the watchers, and someone to watch the ones who watch the watchers....
The vast majority of jobcentre staff do a good job, same with asda staff, tesco staff etc. There are always bad apples, but most people do the right thing.
I'm rather tired of people who criticise and form a strong opinion without any evidence.
Presumably YOU need to be checked up on too shikoku?0 -
