You can't keep WTC if you're over the threshold and struggling.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Tax credit are based on previous years income so your award for April 11 - April 12 will be based on your income for the period April 10 to April 11 unless it has increased by £10000 or more.0

you should still update them even if you get nothing it will be helpfull for them to have the figures because if something happens and your income decreases, it saves the whole hassel of sifting through paper work when you only have to go to your CTCWTC paper work. got to entitledto.com you can work out exactly what and how much youll be entitled to because i dont think 14k PA is past the threshhold, so youll still have some wtc.0

For a childless, non-disabled single person the cut off is around £13000Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Yes it is about £13000 but (as I'm sure all those who responded know) what counts is 10/11 tax year income not earnings in 11/12. The OP's post seems to be suggesting her expected earnings for 11/12 are higher at £14000, and unless her earnings were £4000 or less in 10/11, this means actual earnings in 10/11 will be used to decide 11/12 WTC entitlement.0

but won't 12/13 be based on 11/12, and if she didn't report her new earnings, her assessment in 12/13 will come up as having been overpaid for 11/12 and she might find having to repay in 12/13?0

My income for tax year 2010/11 will be 15,610, I guess this will render me not eligable for WTC from April 2011?0
