red letter style track day - fast cars for a midlife crisis lol

My husband will be 40 at the end of January, so im having a look for something a bit special now.

Im thinking something like a track day / driving experience, he isnt hugely into cars but its not like he is 40 every day and not like he gets to drive a ferarri every day!

I can spend a maximum of about £150 and the location needs to be Midlands, preferably east but west is ok too!

Ive never bought one of these before so no idea where to look, ive seen teh red letter days site but in true MSE style im sure i can get this cheaper!!!

Buyagift have them at various Midland race tracks for £59 Monday to Wednesday. Other days available for a £25 or £35 supplement. There is 'optional' collision damage waiver insurance which costs £25 - a no brainer really... There are height and weight restrictions and, obviously, the need for a driving licence.
