Desperately seeking snow boots

Does anybody know of a good reasonable brand of snow boots? We get heavy snow and sheet ice. I live on top of a high hill and my train station is down said hill. They need to have a LOT of grip and keep my feet warm. Anyone had a good experience? I need a wonderboot!!! :p

  • whenever i buy something i dont know about, i just go to google type e.g best snow boots or snow boots review and usually something will show up to give you an idea of the big names involved.
Also amazon is a great resource for reviews i think, e.g i go to amazon i search snow boots first thing i see at top is this damn cant post links,
just try it search snow boots in amazon and soemthign turns up with 111 reviews near enough five star, i am not saying they are the best ro anything but amazon reviews are a useful.
Also if you cant find many customer reviews for something try searchign for an item on amazon.com instead as of course the US has higher population you usually have far more reviews
  • We've had a couple of different types of Campri boots for a few years now- moon boots for the kids, and a different type for the grown ups. They've been excellent- they were really cheap in Sports Direct when we bought them but they've upped the price of late. I get very, very cold feet but they're always snug, and I never feel I'm going to slip anywhere in them.

    Lidl.
    Cheap and very good quality.
The only problem is, they only have them in occasionally.

There is a brand called Romika and they have loads of types of boots with range of prices but they are dearer because they are built to last and are proper boots. Just do a google search because you can get them cheaper in some shops.

I really want the Romika polar 81 but are £85  and sold out everywhere but will last years and years....but still i can't afford them :D
