Debate House Prices

current mortgages & changing attitudes

Really suprised this isn't being discussed.

apparently deposit level requirements are falling - down to 20%. Over 90% of ftb's are going for repayment mortgages (interesting - an apparent aversion to debt? Or an inclination to get it paid off asap). Interest only loans falling.

Both ftb loans and remortgaging loans were down...
It's getting harder & harder to keep the government in the manner to which they have become accustomed.

    Great news! FTBers only need to save 20K instead of 25K to buy a 100K 1 bed flat! That'll be a piece of cake on top of paying their punishing rental costs that some on these forums like to harp on about.

    I think chucky has trackers, my trackers are currently charging less than I am earning on my savings accounts (even after paying the tax on the interest), I imagine his are too.
