Praise for Argos

I just wanted to share my recent experience of shopping with Argos...
Having thought I had finished my Christmas shopping, another toy advert came on TV and went straight to the top of my daughter's list
. So, after searching the net to find the cheapest (and in stock), I reserved the "Fin Fin Friends Castle & Mall Playset" at Argos. Note: specific request to Santa was for the pink castle Fin Fin playset...
I duly went to Argos to pick up item. What came out was the blue playset (seaside shop), not the pink castle. I said straight away that it was the wrong one as I needed the pink one which is what I thought I had reserved. The sales assistant checked the stock - both on the computer (to see what I meant) and in the back. He confirmed the seaside shop was all they had in. (I should have read the item description more closely - it did say "styles vary", although the pic was of the pink toy and it said "castle" in the title).
So, I was unable to check online stock availability of other Argos stores, as there was no way of knowing which versions of the playset they had in. I queried this with the sales assistant, and he said I would need to phone round... then promptly said he could do this for me. Which he did! And reserved the item for me in another Argos which I collected the same day. :j:j:j
I was blown away by the helpfulness of this guy - most definitely above and beyond what I would expect from any sales assistant. I have tried to find an e-mail address for Argos to send some thanks/praise but can only find this for complaints .
