authorised user become main user and get new customer perks?

hi, i have a tesco credit card and the 12 month nil interest ends in March. My hubby is an authorised user, could he then apply to be the main user and me as authorised and get the new customer 12 months interest free?

As hes just an additional cardholder on your account i see nothing to stop him applying for an account in his own name and getting whatevers on offer when he does
