signing on

my husband has been lucky enough to get an interview next week,the same time he is due to sign on ,will the job centre still pay us our benifits as he cant sign on at that time or will they let him sign on later or will they just stop our claim

    If you're husband gives them a call then they will give him an alternative time, make sure he gets the name of the person he speaks to in case of issues later. If he just doesn't sign then he will not get any money and his claim would be closed 7 days later.

  • thankyou for reply ,he has gone down to job centre to tell them ,but last year when he was on benifits they put him on a course ,the same time as signing on ,so told them this they said no prop,i didnot trust them so maid him go back to job centre after course had finished ,they had only put him down as a no show
    ,this is our second time on benifits ,i just feel so uneasy all the time .whish one of us had a job
