Personal no claims in a company vehicle
Options
Just wondering - if I have an accident in a company car whilst at work, and put in a claim through the company insurance policy for the repair, would it affect my personal no claims discounts, or is it kept seperate? On any insurance claim you have to put driver name, but is this pretty much as far as that information goes, or do they then log it against that person personally?

Usually on the insurance quote form, they ask if you have been involved in any accident, regardless of fault, in the last 3 years.
It may not effect your no claims bonus, but they will bump up the premium because of this.(".)0 -
It wont affect your private vehicle NCD but as above, you do have to declare it to themAll posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

It is what they call a "material fact" to advise your Insurance Company of any incidents you have been involved in.
Nowadays, insurers can access databases of information they share so is it is your interest to inform them.0
