Anyone know what is happening this year with cb, mine is due on the 27/12 which is a b/h (oh it's paid into my b/a). I'm hoping it will be paid in a week early lol?

Dates for CB payments over bank holidays can be found on the HMRC website:
http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/childbenefit/payments-entitlements/payments/bank-holidays.htm
For Tax Credits these dates can be found on the direct.gov website:
http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/MoneyTaxAndBenefits/TaxCreditsandChildBenefit/TaxCredits/Paymentsandentitlement/payments/DG_1756640 -
Usually the working day before. The days of it being a week early are long gone.0
