applying for an amex card.

friend wants to apply for an Amex card, the platinum cash back one.

Are there any rewards for applying directly to them, or is it better to go through Quidco.

I thought i saw £100 reward for new customers but I am maybe getting mixed up with Santander new customers.

Anyone know also how long it takes to actually receive one after approval

Yeah go through quidco if you are prepared to wait 14 years for your cashback from them.

There's a tenner through TopCashback, I've found them to be pretty reliable.

Just bear in mind that Amex are pretty harsh credit scorers and you have to spend £3k in order to be able to get hold of your cashback.

I already have a platinum card which pays me my cashback each December without any problem..

The other person has just moved home and is going to spend a lot of money, i suggested AMEX because of the 5% 3 month offer.
