Although we dont no what thats going to be as I have a huge family and the day is usually spent all together.

Would really need more idea of what you both like doing together (although as you say, if you are spending it with your family, when were you planning on doing something together? After Xmas dinner or did you mean later on in the week?) For his gift, what kind of things he likes otherwise its not very easy to suggest anything.0

Sorry!!! I am a complete muppet at times!!
We want to do something together on xmas day, something special and quite romantic, but we are not sure what yet. I know this is completely vague! We planned on spending xmas just me and him as we live together in Kent but we thought it would be better to spend it up north with my parents. We were going to have lunch, possibly a walk out, then a drink n our local and then spend the rest of the day chilling out and watching christmas movies or playing board games and just generally enjoying each others company.
He is a typical bloke and loves his football and beer! He is into sort of crime drama like NCIS and CSI but looking at their boxsets they can be pretty expensive. He is also a big fan of designer clothes (Bless he has no concept of money!!!) and wants me to get him some clothes for xmas but we will see. After that I am finding it really hard to think, I cant say much more other than he is a typical bloke and likes "bloke" things!!
thanks guys!!

I would buy him one of those red letter day type things e.g. wine tasting or driving a supercar at Brands Hatch/similar. Only problems are the tiny size of present in literal terms, and the wait for it!Weight loss: Start weight: 80kg; Current Weight: 77kg; Target weight: 55kg0

yeah i was thinking about something along the lines of that possibly a driving one as he quite likes F1 so I will have a look. I want to get him something he will really like, I have asked him if there is anything he wants but he cant think of anything, but knowing him he will give me a list the size of his arm on xmas eve!

If he is into Footie, what about a ticket to go and see his favourite team.
OR
Living in Kent, take him on a booze cruise across the channel.MSE is a religion and the Arms is its Temple:money:

What team does he support, you could take him to the ground of his team they usually do guided tours?
Designer boxers are good lol, try TK maxx!
What about buying him an experience like zorbing or something"Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring."0 -
Zorbing!! Now that sounds like an idea!! Thats something he has mentioned before!!! Thanks Berrybabe!!!

The first few series of NCIS (up to series 6) are very cheap on amazon or asda ( less than £20.) :rotfl:
What about a football related box you could include a hat, scarf, vouchers for visiting his special ground, hand warmers (only £1 from BM) gloves etc, IOU ( romantic walk, massage etc), favorite sweets or chocolate, football related movie, a few cans of favorite lager etc.... A mixture of cheap basics and a few more expensive items.
Did something similar for OH birthday from our girls he loved it :j0
