SSP ended??

Hi my SSP is due to end next week i've tried to ask my HR manager several times about my holiday entitlement, i'm on a full time contract with the company and worked damn hard for them before my illness, i don't want to claim ESA as i'll be eligible to go on maternity pay in a few weeks again i've asked my HR manager at what rate i would be paid maternity pay but since my doctor said my recovery would be a long procedure my employers seem to have lost interest in me and i was hoping to go back but again when i've asked HR about this they are just not answering me. i still receive documents through the post and if they have any questions for me there answered as soon as possible as most contact is through email.
I'm at a lost as to what to do in this day and age i need to know if i'm going to be able to afford to pay my bill's rather than waiting and seeing at the end of each month.

I would just put in a holiday request for 28 days. That is the statutory minimum and your employers must assume you are going to take 52 weeks off holiday so requesting all of your entitlement before your leave would not be unreasonable. They can then only pay what you have accrued or decline some of it and let you know, at least then you wil have some idea.
