Recommend me your Die Cutting Sets

OK I know this normally the craft type board so I thought I'd pick all your brains :D
It's my birthday in March and my parents are giving me some cash for Xmas. So I want to buy a big shot but I am not sure what are the best dies to buy? Those of you that use them what are your most used dies? They are expensive so don't really want to spend money on dies that aren't going to get much use.
I want to use it for making crafts and cards if that points you in the right direction for suggestions :D

I only have alphabet dies for mine which I love, but I scrapbook so they are really useful. If I could afford to I would get some nestabilities as they are sooooo useful for mat and layering.

I would recommend nestabilities too, if you look at a craft shop online called Once Upon a Stamp they do them for 4 sets for £60 very quick delivery too. Have a look on ebay and see if there is anything there you fancy, check which dies you can use in your machine first. Most machines take most dies.
