Toddlers and Fireworks

Does anyone know if it is possible to buy toddler and young children friendly fireworks. By that, I mean ones that will produce lots of colour but without the deafening noises for a toddler to watch from safely through a patio door.

I dont think they do but I used to put ear muffs onto mine and tell them to put their hands over their ears. They thought it was funny.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

Some of the smaller, cheaper 'Standard' boxes don't have any loud 'bangers' in - just catherine wheels, fountains, traffic lights etc - they give a little 'whoosh' but no bangs. We used to have them as kids, and my son has liked them since being quite young. There is a box called 'bedazzled' which specifically says 'No bangs' - the link is here (not sure where these are sold but probably most large supermarkets will have them, or something similar)"I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

Sorry, the above link was just for the main homepage - click on 'View Standard Fireworks' (bottom, left hand side), then 'Standard' (in the middle of the screen roughly), and then 'Selection Boxes' (on the menu on the left hand side). It's the top one, in a purple box, for £5.99."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250

what I did last year for my youngest who was just one at the time was i bought some sparklers and stuck them in the ground at lit them :rotfl:
This worked out fine for him because hes too young to hold them anyway and fine for me because Im too scared to light a real fire work. I will be doing the same for him this year too0 -
