Capital One Letter

Hi all,

I've recieved a letter from Capital One today following a online application last week.

The letter is asking for I.D and starts of by telling me how they have almost completed my application. They wan't the standard I.D which isn't a problem

What I'm asking is if my application has been succesful or if I'm still in a position to be declined. Usually I'd think I had been accepted if I recieved a letter telling me I needed to send I.D but with it saying that it's "almost completed" I'm not sure.

Any advice would be appreciated.

You can be declined at any point in the application, even if they've sent the card the account can be closed before you get a chance to us it.

Hopefully, all we good well for you but again, Crap 1 never seem to be in a hurry to actually post the card either :-)

Thanks for that. I just wanted an idea before I started messing around photocopying ID and alike.
