    I would be more concerned about the lying / deliberate omission than anything.

    Making your medical condition clear means the company are obliged to make reasonable adjustments to support you - this works in your favour. However by not declaring something, it gives them room to question your honesty and integrity.

    TBH if this happened at my work, I'd want to look into it and understand why you'd chosen not to share it. Depending on your answer would depend on what I'd do ... but there would always be that question mark about how honest you were being for me.

    With a disabled badge it actually offers you protection under the DDA.

    No - Having a blue badge has nothing to do with whether you can or cannot be considered as disabled under the DDA.

    I know technically having the blue badge on it's own does not - however with the actual disabilities having the badge gives credence to any DDA claim to the employer...
    If you haven't got it - please don't flaunt it. TIA.
