Hello,
I booked an paid for a hotel and train to Edinburgh this weekend.
What is the weather like ATM (I'm guessing cold and snowy!)
Are trains still running? Any ideas on what the weather will be doing at the weekend?
Also, if I cancel, do you think I could get anything back on train tickets and the hotel?
Thanks!

Yes.Are trains still running?
Yes, but some services are delayed or cancelled see this link here and hereAlso, if I cancel, do you think I could get anything back on train tickets and the hotel?
Not to sure on the Hotel but with the train it depends on what type of ticket you have see this, advance, Off Peak or Anytime ticket terms and conditionsWhoa! This image violates our terms of use and has been removed from view0 -
Travel around Edinburgh - once you are here - won't be affected, just wear warm clothing and 'sensible' walking shoes.
As it is a city gritting is better than outlying districts.0 -
The weather looks OK for this weekend so you should be ok. It is meant to be sunny on Friday with no snow and cloudy on Sat and Sun.0

Buses are running, people are walking with few problems, shops & festivities are open. Just bring some waterproof boots as the snow can be deep in places.
Now back to digging the car out. :mad:0
