pre paid credit card

hi all I used my pre paid credit card for the first time today for a online purchase from halfcost.co.uk when paying it told me my card was declined so I tried again it then said card declined and my account with half cost would be barred if I put a incorrect card in again.so I go onto the pre paid credit card site only to notice that half cost had the payment twice and there no signs of my order on the half cost site. usually I get a email conforming my orders. ive looked on www.halfcost.co.uk web site but they don't have a phone number not sure what to do now thanks for advice. would the prepaid card cancel one my payment for me thanks

Thank you for your recent e-mail. Our records show that both the Pamyent and Order did not go through successfully for you. The reason for this is likely due to the entered Billing details not matching the records held with your bank.

The payment 'Attempt' likely registered with your bank, however the transaction did not go through. If you check with your bank again in a couple of days, they should be able to confirm this for you.

i called the prpaid credit card company and they have said the transacions where no otherised and the payment will take 2 weeks to go back on my card.
so where my money gone i cannot afford to pay for the items i want untill my money goes back on my card they where so quick to take the money but not quick to pay it back
