Ahh - no denial this time, but some major editing to the thread title and op!
The op is now completely changed to being a quote from the Businessonline.
So Arsenne didn't write any of it now! He merely spotted something on the net and pinched it. Got found out and tried to cover his tracks with some inverted commas!0 -
Only you choosed to make a song and dance about it Quentin. So i guess most readers were following the drift.
However i do agree on reflection it could have been made clearer and i have amended title and post in case any one else has a problem with it.
If you have a personal problem with the post Quentin and think i have an hidden agenda why dont you report it to abuse, instead of making snide comments.0 -

Give me a chance to post my response which i have now done.
I thought it was quite clear that if you read op that i was was quoting from The Businessonline article, and so do did most over people.Their was no question of me pinching article or trying to hide my tracks.
You really ought to learn to be more friendly to other Forum members, and stop making unfounded allegations.;)0 -
I never accused you of having a hidden agenda.
I posted yesterday that both the thread title and your original post was factually incorrect.
You now have agreed and altered the post and thread title - though even though you already apologised for the typing error regarding the share price being 26p:Sorry i did not notice the typo in the article
You have still left it uncorrected.
That could suggest you are trying to mislead us all, couldn't it?0 -
How can i alter the typo in the article that i did not write, only quoted from , i dont know what the writer of it meant to say,he could have missed a digit off the end of the price,or as another poster suggests he might have meant the shares dropped by 26p.
The typo has been highlighted in this thread for everyone to see, this is good enough for most people but not you.
I am surprised therefore that you still continue to hint that i could be trying to mislead people.
As i said earlier if you have a problem with it report it to abuse.0 -
What is the point of you insisting on quoting an article which you know contains a major typo?
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
You say:Only you choosed to make a song and dance about it
But out of the 5 people who have contributed to this misleading thread, 4 of us have tried to point out the mistakes in it.
Despite this, you now claim you can't alter it because you didn't write it!
So now you know its wrong I ask you again, what is the point of this thread?0 -
What was the point of starting the thread anyway? Share prices fluctuate on a daily basis and you should have questioned the 26p that you quoted, before posting. CPW share price has been no where near 26p as shown here. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

Being an avid Carphone Watcher i to got some satisfaction from reading it,as did Ian W in post 10.
I noticed the typo but put it down it to just that.I still managed to understand what the writer was saying.0
