I went for medical on the 16th of september 2010 and received a letter yesterday 27/11/2010 saying that i have 0 points, in december/january 2010 found my self with the most horrendous chest infection and after having many antibiotics and steroids i was looking forward to getting well,but i have not recovered after 6 months of sheer exhaustion,pain and depression i was diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome every month since then im losing the strength in my legs,i dont trust myself going out because of dizzy spells and falling over i have use if a walking stick,normal daily chores have gone,cant look after myself never mind my 2 kids, and im expected to find work, i wish i could turn the clock back and carry on working but this terrible illness has taken my strength and my well being at 42 where i should be in my prime,im planning on appealing this decision has any one found it difficult i love to hear from you x:)

  • hi please try and keep your chin up a good few years ago i got M.E i started to get pains in my back and legs with ibs.at the time i was working shift work in a glassworks (glassblowing making large blown items) i would find my self carrying big gathers of glass and my legs giving way in the end i had to give it up and go on I.B. i am now a lot better i do still get flair ups but can work part time so please try and stay possitive and i hope you may get better.
