Phonecall from Club La Costa Hotels

Hi all, had a call tonight from CLC and they said i had entered a survey online and had been selected to try out their hotel in Cornwall called Hustyns near Padstow. Obviously being MSE savvy i said i couldn't do it now without talking to my hubby but could she call me back later, she said she would. So i cam online and googled it and now think i shall be saying no to them. She said it would be £79 for 4 nights for us both to stay at the hotel. But looking at the site for the hotel, there are no prices listed for normal stays so don't know if this is good or not. Also i've read on here a lot about a marketing event? She didn't mention anything on the pone about that...what do you guys think...is it too good to be true

The aim of the stay is to get you to buy into Club La Costa - there will almost certainly be a sales presentation, possibly high pressure, during your stay.

If you can say NO rather than roll over and say yes when bamboozled with figures then it's a cheapish break. If you say yes it will be one of the most expensive ever.

Some good reviews, might be worth a few days away if you can resist buying a timeshare
