A decent pair of loupes

My hobby is detailed model making, and I like the 'loupes' like dentists wear over their glasses. Trouble is, they can cost £200+.
I cannot find any outlet for used sets, surely there must be a market?
My only proviso is that they must be good quality, not cheap chinese try-ons!
