hi im on high rate mobility and high rate care will i still have a medical ? thanks

AFAIK, all people of working age who apply for, or receive, DLA, will have a medical, starting in 2013. Once my son is an adult, I expect that he will have a medical. He is currently on HRC and HRM, indefinite award, but is only 12 years old.0

thanks i meant to say i was getting incapacity benefit the new medicals for this when i recieve motability and high rate care , does every body have a medical even though i recieve these dla benefits thanks0

As far as I can see, they are going to reassess all claimants even those on DLA high rates. The only exception are those that will reach pension age before April 2014.
They will look at your completed ESA50 report and for most, a medical will then be required.
I think it's important to include as much detail and supporting evidence when sending in the ESA50 form. It may be that this could allow you to be accessed directly into the support group without requiring a medical.
