Travel from Manchester Airport to Trafford Centre

Hello. Does any-one know the best way to get from MAP to the Trafford centre?
Is a taxi likely to be expensive, or is it best (and more cost effective) to get train into town and then a taxi? - Any thoughts appriciated. Thanks

The airport is closer to the Traffic Centre than the city centre (they both straddle the M60) so I wouldn't bother with a taxi from the city centre. No idea how much a cab would be from the airport though.
The cheapest option would probably be to travel to the city centre and then, from Piccadilly station, get an Altrincham bound tram to Stretford. There is a shuttle bus to the Traffic Centre from there. Wouldn't be particularly quick though.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you want my opinion, I'd get the train to Manchester Piccadilly, dump your bags in left luggage and go round the shops in town.
